Microsoft published another Exchange Security Update for all supported versions of Exchange Server. See the Exchange Team Blog.
Procedure for updating is not changed, just have a look at the picture below.
Here are the official Download Links:
- Exchange Server 2013 CU23 (note that support and availability of SUs end on April 11, 2023)
- Exchange Server 2016 CU23
- Exchange Server 2019 CU11 and CU12
One interesting fact is the CVE for Outlook: CVE-2023-23397
In addition to the CVE Microsoft created a script for checking this vulnerability. This can be done to OnPrem Exchange Servers and Exchange Online. This script audits and cleans the malicious elements Github CVE-2023-23397script.
After updating you should of course run the Exchange Healthchecker to verify everything is fine.
Issues resolved
Wow Microsoft revives for example the Exchange Toolbox, which did not work after Updating January SU and Security Workaround.
